The 20th Grand Master M.W. Brother Lindsey B Herd,Jr (1973-1974)
Most Worshipful Brother Ian Lin was born on May 10th. 1923 in the City of Taipei, Province of Taiwan, Republic of China. He spent his childhood days on Taiwan, during the Japanese occupation, consequently had to attend a Japanese school when he was seven years old, but studied only four years. When he was eleven, he was sent to Hong Kong, a British Colony, for schooling. Hong Kong was not only close, it also offered one a good foreign education. The school he attended was the Diocesan School, one of the oldest in Hong Kong. It celebrated its Centennial Anniversary five years ago, and was the same school that Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of the Republic of China, attended. Most Worshipful Brother Lin graduated in 1940 and returned to Taiwan in 1941, at the beginning of World War II. Having studied in Hong Kong for so many years, he had forgotten, his Japanese and had to re-learn the language during the four years of occupation. After V-J Day, Taiwan was returned to the Republic of China, and as Japanese was no longer used, he had to start learning Mandarin. Having been in Hong Kong for so many years, Can-tonese had become his native dialect. Therefore, Most Worshipful Brother Ian Lin, through circumstance, has gained a working knowledge of English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and the local Taiwanese dialect.
Most Worshipful Brother Ian Lin was initiated in Sun Lodge No. 6 on March 1st, 1963, passed April 5th, 1963 and raised on May 13th, 1963. From there on he went through the chairs as Junior Steward, Junior Deacon, Treasurer, Senior Deacon, Senior Warden, and Worshipful Master of Sun Lodge 1968-1969. In 1967 he affiliated with Liberty Lodge No.7. He was elected Worshipful Master of Liberty Lodge No.7, 1969-1970.
During these years he was also very active in other Masonic organizations, holding such positions as Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Wise Master of the Taipei Bodies, and Master of the two other Bodies. He was Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of Taipei Bodies, and Chairman of the Temple Executive Council. Most Worshipful Brother 1an Lin joined Islam Temple of the Shrine during Islam’s Pilgrimage to Taipei in 1964, and is a member of the Ali Shan Oasis Shrine Club, and a Past President of the Taipei Square & Compass Club.
Most Worshipful Brother Lin joined the Taipei Rotary Club in 1965 and has been a Second Vice President of that Club. He took up golf several years ago and joined the Taipei Golf and Country Club in 1960 where his interest in the welfare of the Club caused him to be elected a member of their Board of Directors.
Most Worshipful Brother Lin’s vocation is Sulphur mining and he is presently Chairman of the Board of both the Tekkee Sulphur Mining Co., Ltd., which was started by his father in 1907, and the Jin Kee Sulphur & Pyrite Mining Co., Ltd. He also heads the Chin Shan Theater and Chin Yen Motion Picture Co., Ltd. and is a Board member of the Taiwan Sulphur Producers Association.
Most Worshipful Brother Ian Lin was married in 1941 to Miss Chris Tsai. They have two sons and one daughter, all married. The two sons reside in Taipei, but the daughter lives in the U.S.A.

第二十一屆總會長 林文仁尊兄
林尊兄出生於5月10日。 1923 年於中華民國台灣省台北市。 他的童年是在台灣度過的，當時日本佔領了台灣，因此他七歲時就進入日本學校，但只學習了四年。 十一歲時，他被送往英國殖民地香港上學。 香港不僅距離很近，而且還為人們提供了良好的外國教育。 他就讀的學校是拔萃男書院，是香港最古老的學校之一。 五年前，該校迎來百年校慶，是中華民國國父孫中山先生就讀的學校。 林尊兄於1940年畢業，並於1941年二戰開始時返回台灣。 在香港學習了這麼多年，他忘記了日語，不得不在佔領的四年裡重新學習日語。 抗戰勝利後，台灣回歸中華民國，日語不再使用，他不得不開始學習普通話。 來香港這麼多年，粵語已經成了他的母語。 因此，最敬愛的林尊兄在環境中，掌握了英語、普通話、粵語、日語和台灣當地話的實用知識。
林尊兄於1963年3月1日在第六分會申廬入會，1963年4月5日轉化，並於1963年5月13日提升。從那時起，他歷任副司事、副司客、司庫、司客、會監。 1968-1969 年，擔任申廬會長。 1967年，他加入了第七分會自由廬。 1969年至1970年，他被選為第七分會自由廬會長。
這些年來，林尊兄在其他美生會組織中也非常活躍，擔任過東方之星的前任會長、台北慈修會二個分會的會長已及台北慈修會總會長，他曾擔任台北慈修會外交委員會主委和會堂管理委員會主委。 林尊兄於1964年伊斯蘭慈壇社來台期間加入，是阿里山慈壇社的成員，也是台北方圓會俱樂部的前任會長。
林尊兄於1965年加入台北扶輪社，並擔任該社第二副會長。 幾年前，他開始打高爾夫球，並於 1960 年加入台北高爾夫鄉村俱樂部，出於對俱樂部福利的關心，他被選為俱樂部董事會成員。
林尊兄的職業是硫磺開採，父親英籍猶太人士東，母親林秀鳳，就任總會長時他是其父親於1907年創辦的德記硫磺礦業有限公司和金記硫磺黃鐵礦礦業有限公司的董事會主席。他還是金山劇團和金雁電影有限公司的負責人，並且是台灣硫磺生產者協會的董事會成員。
林尊兄於1941年與蔡小姐結婚。 他們有兩個兒子和一個女兒，均已結婚。 兩個兒子居住在台北，但女兒居住在美國。
